From preset to print bed

Creative controls without the CAD learning curve.

The simple choices stay visible. Wall thickness, clearances, overhangs and fit are checked behind the scenes, so what you download prints.

  1. 01

    Start with a proven shape

Choose a potion bottle, vial, flask, coffin or jug that already has sensible printable dimensions.

  2. 02

    Shape and personalise it

Adjust the profile, sides, neck, closure, colours and a raised or engraved motif while the 3D preview updates.

  3. 03

    Check the real model

Print checks flag thin walls, steep overhangs and loose closures before you spend time or filament.

  4. 04

    Download the print file

Get a multicolour 3MF with the body and closure laid out to print without supports, plus a print and safety guide.

Made for display and play

Printed with care, used with care.

Every print file comes with a print and safety guide written for that exact design.

  • Not for food or drink

Printed layers trap bacteria and most filaments are not food safe. Vessels are for display, props and pretend play.

  • Small parts

Corks and caps can be small enough to be a choking hazard. The guide flags this for your design. Not for children under 3.

  • Tuned for FDM printers

Defaults suit a 0.4 mm nozzle and a 256 mm bed. The 3MF opens in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer.

  • Your responsibility

Whoever prints and supplies a vessel is responsible for how it is made and for any product-safety rules where it is sold.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need an account?

Not to design. Open Vessel Lab and start shaping straight away. A free account lets you save designs and download print files, and your design comes with you when you sign up.

What do I get when I download?

A multicolour 3MF with the body and any cork, cap or lid laid out to print without supports, plus a print and safety guide with recommended settings. A lid too wide to sit beside the body, or a saucer tray, comes as its own file.

Can I sell what I print?

Free print files are for personal use. Maker members can sell eligible physical products while Maker access is active, subject to our Terms.

Will my printer handle it?

Vessel Lab is tuned for FDM printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. It warns you if a design would need supports, has walls that are too thin, or will not fit a 256 mm bed.

Can I put my own words on it?

Yes. Type one or two lines and the lettering shrinks to fit the front of the bottle. Choose raised or engraved, and the wall keeps its thickness behind it. Maker members can also upload their own logo or artwork as an SVG.

Can I add handles or feet?

Yes, with Maker. Handles rise at 45° and rounded feet taper into the base, so everything still prints upright without supports. Vessel Lab tells you if a shape is too squat for a handle.
